Reporting a problem

  • Your iPhone model and iOS version (Settings › General › About).
  • The app version, shown at the bottom of the app’s settings screen.
  • What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
  • A screenshot or screen recording, if the problem is something you can see.
  • Whether it happens every time or only occasionally.

Common questions

Using the app

How many people can be in one household?
A household holds up to ten members. Everyone in it sees the same shopping list, chore rotation, calendar, to-dos, notes, and house rules, synced live.
Which devices does Roomie Coordinator work on?
Roomie Coordinator is an iPhone app. There is no Android or web version, so everyone in your household will need an iPhone to join.
Is it free?
Yes — the app is currently free to download and use, with no in-app purchases. If that ever changes we will say so in the Terms of Service before it takes effect.
Does the app move money between roommates?
No. Expense splitting records who paid, how a cost is divided, and whether a debt has been marked settled. It never transfers funds and never asks for card or bank details — settling up happens however you already do it.
I found a bug, or I have an idea for a feature.
Please send it to [email protected]. Bug reports and feature ideas go to the same address — for a bug, the checklist above covers what’s most useful to include.

Account and data

How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app, which removes your personal account data. If you cannot get into the app, email [email protected] and we will process the deletion for you.
What happens to my content if I leave a household?
Content you contributed to a household’s shared records — expenses, completed chores, activity — may stay visible to the remaining members, so the group’s history stays intact. The Privacy Policy explains this in full.
How old do I have to be?
You need to be at least 16, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country and at least 13.
Where is my data stored, and who can see it?
Household data is stored and synced using Google Firebase. Members of your household see the content shared in it; we do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising. The Privacy Policy has the detail.
